Once you arrive at Dunolly Cottage, we ask that You and the other Guests in your party fully comply with these terms of use. 1. To limit the number of people occupying the property to that which is stated in the confirmed booking. This will normally be 6, including children, but an additional occupant in the person of a baby will be acceptable. You may bring up to two dogs as long as this has been agreed with RAL at the time of booking. 2. To keep any dogs, where allowed, under strict control at all times. Dogs must be house-trained, are not to be left alone at any time in or near the accommodation. Dogs are not allowed onto the furniture. Any fouling in the gardens, patios and driveway must be cleared. RAL may make an additional, reasonable charge for professional cleaning after your and your Guests' occupancy due to any pets that have stayed at the Property. 3. To be responsible for shutting all exterior doors and appropriate windows and securing the property when absent or sleeping. 4. To adhere to the strict no smoking policy in the cottage. A covered outside space with seating is provided for smokers, with a butt bin. Please do not drop cigarette butts on the ground. 5. To respect and look after your accommodation during your stay and to leave the property in the same state of order and cleanliness in which it was found, with full inventory. Also to take responsibility for minimising the fire risk. 6. To behave in a way at all times while at the property which does not break any law and not to use the property for any illegal or commercial purpose. 7. To not sublet the property or any part thereof or otherwise allow anyone to stay in it who we have not previously accepted as a member of your party. 8. To not behave in an anti-social manner, breach the peace or otherwise act in a way which may disrupt or affect the enjoyment of others. 9. To not arrange for visitors to the property without the advance consent of RAL, which will not be unreasonably withheld. You cannot significantly change the number of adults or children during your stay. (For example, if you book for two adults and two children, you cannot arrive with four adults and no children.) You must not hold events (such as parties, celebrations or meetings) at the property without the advance consent of RAL. If you do any of these things, RAL can refuse to hand over the property to you, or can repossess it. If RAL does this, RAL or its agent will treat this as You cancelling the booking. In these situations You will not receive a refund of any money You have paid for your booking. Neither RAL nor its agent will be legally responsible to You as a result of this situation. (This will include, for example, any costs or expenses You have to pay due to not being able to stay in the property, such as the cost of finding other accommodation.) Neither RAL nor its agent are under any obligation to find any alternative accommodation for You. 10. To allow RAL or their appointed and notified agents access to the rented property at all reasonable times, of which notice will always be given, unless an emergency arises and this is not practical. However, please note that the area to the South and West of the cottage and its immediate surroundings, that is fenced off from those surrounding spaces, is for the private use of the proprietors and they may have access to this area at any time, through the main gate and then the gate off the parking area. Further to this, the rear section of the "Green Shed" and the Garages are not included in the let space and the proprietors may require access to these areas at any time. Access to the external areas included in the let may be needed for maintenance (eg grass mowing) during your visit. If this is the case, that will be at reasonably pre-agreed times. We will at all times endeavour not to interfere with your enjoyment of the cottage as a result of our work in the “back” garden area or needs to access our storage areas in the green shed and the garage.
Inventory of Contents .....
You will find a current inventory of contents on arrival in the cottage. We do not require you to read this or sign off on it on arrival. It is provided so that you know what is provided and you may, if you wish, check and dispute any part of it. However, in event of any significant damage or lack of adequate cleaning or tidying on departure, it will form the basis for any subsequent request to make good.
